Differences between ICE and VID1

The VID1 helmet has the same manufacturing as the ICE model, with the same shell, EPS liner, center pads, cheek pads, and noise-reduction features.

However, it cannot be approved for impact-rating standards, according to European regulations, because of the cutaway system it is equipped with.

This cutaway system makes the helmet ready for the installation of cameras.

The ICE helmet is not compatible with the cutaway system, therefore the chinstraps are not interchangeable between the ICE and VID1.

The installation of cameras is at the discretion of the user and applicable regulations, but it will compromise its impact rating. More information on the ICE helmet can be found on the product page.
