Our Story

Born at the Dropzone

SkydiveShop.com was born from a simple idea: skydivers deserve a gear shop run by people who actually live and breathe the sport. With a combined 15,000+ jumps between our team, we know what it takes to find the right equipment — because we've been through the process ourselves, many times over.

Based at Skydive Spain, one of Europe's busiest dropzones, we're not behind a desk — we're on the loads, testing gear, coaching students, and jumping alongside our customers every weekend. That hands-on experience shapes everything we do, from the brands we stock to the advice we give.

Meet the Skydivers Behind the Shop

We're not just a team that sells skydiving equipment — we're a team that jumps together, learns together, and shares a deep passion for the sport. From seasoned instructors to fresh jumpers, our diverse experience means we understand every stage of a skydiver's journey.

  • Ernestas Beskis

    Skydiver since 2013 with over 6,000 jumps. Tandem instructor, camera flyer, and AFF instructor with over 1,500 AFF jumps under his belt. Ernestas is also an instructor at Skydive Spain and a canopy coach at The Canopy Flight School. An experienced canopy pilot flying a JYRO Leia 69, he brings deep knowledge across every discipline — from your first jump to high-performance swooping.

  • Jurate Beske

    Jumping since 2014 with 5,500+ skydives and counting. Jurate is an experienced camera flyer with over 800 AFF jumps, spending years capturing students' first freefall moments. That unique perspective means she knows exactly what new skydivers go through — the excitement, the gear questions, the learning curve — and she's been in the sport long enough to guide you through all of it.

  • Bart Bregman

    First jump in 2020 and already 3,000 skydives deep — flying a Valkyrie 75. Bart's rapid progression through the sport speaks to his dedication and passion. You'll find him at the dropzone every weekend, whether he's working on his canopy skills or simply having fun with friends. His journey from beginner to high-performance pilot gives him a grounded perspective on gear at every level.

  • Ilaria Colombo

    Our newest skydiver, Ilaria started jumping in 2025 and has already racked up 200 jumps with infectious enthusiasm. She's been through every first-time buyer's struggle — finding the right helmet, choosing a first container, making sense of sizing charts — and she brings that fresh perspective to the team. Ilaria keeps us connected to what it's really like to be a new skydiver shopping for gear today.
