After it is switched on, the VISO II+ continuously calibrates to field elevation and accounts for weather-related pressure changes.

Review jump count, exit and opening altitude, freefall time and maximum/average speed after the jump.
More than a number on the screen
The VISO II+ keeps the data that matters close at hand without turning the visual altimeter into a phone app. It is a practical record of what happened in freefall and under canopy.

Set the display to the unit you read most naturally, so altitude is clear at a glance.
Specifications
Official road map
The VISO II+ is designed to be straightforward: power it on, set the way you want to read altitude, and use the guide below to find the settings that matter to your jump day.
01
Switch the VISO II+ on before boarding and confirm that the display is clear, the battery is ready and the unit responds as expected. Make this part of your normal pre-jump routine.
02
Use the backlight when the ambient light changes or when you want a clearer read. A high-contrast display should support your visual scan, not replace it.
03
The VISO II+ keeps useful information from your jumps so you can review it after landing. Use the controls in the normal sequence:
The logbook is a review aid; keep your own jump records and follow your normal equipment-check routine.
04
Choose the display settings that make altitude and speed easiest for you to interpret. The available controls are designed for quick, repeatable checks.
Set your preferred units before boarding so you do not need to change them during the jump day.
05
After landing, review the record if you need it, then return the VISO II+ to the display you use most. The device supports your awareness and decision-making; it does not replace visual altitude awareness or your normal procedures.
