ENGO 2 HUD glasses turn the Deep & Steep Insight GPS Altimeter into a heads-up display for skydiving and air-sports data. When paired with an Insight, the glasses can show useful flight information directly in your field of view instead of forcing you to look down at a wrist or mudflap display.
Important: ENGO 2 glasses require a compatible Deep & Steep Insight GPS Altimeter for skydiving HUD functionality. They are not a standalone skydiving altimeter.
What the Insight HUD can display
Connected wirelessly to Insight, the HUD can be configured for up to three data points, including:
- Altitude AGL
- Ground speed
- Ground track
- Distance to landing zone
- Vertical speed
- Current glide
- Glide required to make the landing zone
- Turn direction to landing zone
Lens and frame options
- Solar lens: high-definition display lens for bright conditions. Available in Black, White and Stealth frames.
- Photochromic lens: automatically adapts from lighter to darker tint for changing light. Available in Black frame.
