Container Pattern & Colors

Note: Screen colors may vary from actual fabric. Smoke, purple, and brown have historically shown less than ideal match between cordura, trim tape, and embroidery thread. Neon colors are susceptible to fading. Kryptek patterns feature random “ghosted” brand logos.

Harness & Comfort Options

Configure your harness type, leg pads, back pad, and stabilizers for the perfect fit.

Vector 3 rig anatomy — 26 components, all customizable

Harness Type

Standard Harness Included Traditional fixed-geometry harness. Fits most body types comfortably.

Variable Geometry Harness (VGH) +€280 Also referred to as VGH, or hip rings, gives added flexibility and range of motion by allowing the harness to hinge at the waist.

Leg Pad Configuration

One-Piece Included The one-piece leg pads wrap all the way around your leg and have padding between the hip hardware (if VGH harness) and your body. Available on both VGH and non-VGH harnesses.

Two-Piece Included Contoured for comfort, our two-piece leg pads are sleek and trim to keep your leg pads snug against your body in even the fastest flying positions. Only available with the Variable Geometry Harness.

Rolled Edge +€34 Sewn with a reverse seam, to add cushion and increase comfort while in the air and while on the ground. Available on both the one piece and two piece leg pads.

-2" Off The Top Included For those with smaller legs or anyone who wants their hardware a little higher up. Reduces the short, front part of the leg pad by 2 inches.

Leg Pad Covers +€128 Available for one piece, two piece, student, tandem, and tandem passenger leg pads.

Back Pad

Standard Deluxe Included Has padding underneath a layer of Cordura. This is our least bulky option, in comparison to 3D spacer foam and Babylon options.

3D Spacer Foam +€210 Adds comfort and breathability with a multi-piece padded mesh design. This feature is also added to the leg pads.

Babylon +€210 The benefits of 3D spacer foam, with the durability of cordura. Uses the same padded configuration as the spacer foam option, but has a cordura covering to protect from dirt and wear.

Stabilizers

Standard Included Rigid stabilizers sewn to the main lift web.

Padded +€70 Foam padding on the standard hard stabilizer for added comfort. Foam can either be mesh, or cordura covered. Available only with the spacer foam or Babylon style backpads.

Soft +€70 Padding wrapped directly around the harness webbing, the soft stabilizers add one more level of comfort by removing the hard outer material. More flexible and hugs the body better.

Main Deployment Bag

Standard (Stowed) Included Standard rubber band stowed bag with stows on the closing flap.

U-Stow +€100 Wingsuit Recommended Semi stowless bag option with pocket for stacking the lines into.

V-Stow +€100 Similar to the U Stow, but the V stow allows for the pocket to open up to easily fold the lines in.

Main Pilot Chute

F-111 Included Provides less oscillation during deployment.

ZP (Zero Porosity) Included Provides quicker extraction during deployment.

Standard Included Standard size pilot chute for belly and freefly jumping.

30" (Wingsuit) Included Larger pilot chute for faster extraction from the main tray. Please specify on order whether you would like ZP or F111.

Reserve Deployment Handle

Metal D-Handle Included Standard metal handle.

Low Profile D Included Metal D handle that does not protrude as far as the standard D to reduce the risk of being snagged, while still allowing you to hook your thumb into it when pulling.

Mini D Included Metal D handle, but the height is reduced to accommodate shorter main lift web, or just personal preference.

Soft Handle (Pillow) +€75 Soft, low profile pillow handle.

Emergency System

The Skyhook MARD, invented by UPT founder Bill Booth, deploys your reserve in ~0.5 seconds — 3 to 4× faster than a pilot chute alone. Over 1,600 real-world emergency deployments recorded.

RSL (Reserve Static Line) +€150 Connects your reserve pin to your main risers, so when your main is cutaway, your reserve pin is automatically pulled.

Skyhook MARD +€330 • Recommended Is a MARD (main assisted reserve deployment), which is an enhancement to the RSL that extracts your reserve canopy from the bag significantly faster than a standard reserve deployment by using the main canopy as the reserve pilot chute.

None (Stock) Included No RSL or Skyhook installed. Not recommended — intended for professional canopy pilots who prefer a clean setup without automatic reserve activation.

Riser Configuration

Standard Risers Included Standard risers are the most widely used option with sport harnesses.

Louie Loops +€50 Reinforced front dive loops for ease of grabbing your fronts! All risers come standard with front dive loops, but Louie Loops take that one step farther allowing the loops to be more pronounced and easier to grab.

Low-drag Louie Loops +€90 Looking for that extra speed and distance? Low drag risers help you get there by reducing the surface area, thus minimizing parasitic drag. Louie Loops are included with them.

Ring Configuration

Type 17 Included Type 17 is the most widely used 3-ring configuration with sport harnesses.

Type 8 Included More commonly used on student gear or parachute systems with larger canopies (220 and above).

Riser Covers

Magnetic Included Magnetic closure keeps riser covers securely fastened during freefall while allowing easy access for riser checks.

Tuck Tab Included Traditional tuck tab closure for riser covers. Reliable and field-proven design.

Riser Length

21″ is the standard riser length. Other lengths available for specific canopy piloting needs.

19″ Included Shorter risers for compact setups or high-performance canopy piloting.

21″ (Standard) Included Standard riser length — suitable for the vast majority of jumpers.

23″ Included Extended risers for taller jumpers or specific canopy piloting preferences.

25″ Included Extra-long risers for tall jumpers or specialized setups.

Toggle Type

Choose how your steering toggles attach to the brake lines.

Tru-Lok Toggles Included Stainless-steel pin locking system — no Velcro needed. Secure, clean, and reliable. Standard on new Vector 3 rigs.

Velcro Included Traditional Velcro toggle attachment. Familiar feel for jumpers used to older-style systems.

Hook Knife

An aluminum hook knife is a recommended safety accessory for entanglement emergencies.

Include Hook Knife +€60 Aluminum hook knife — lightweight, easy to mount. Essential safety tool for cutting away entangled lines.

No Hook Knife Included Skip the hook knife if you already own one or prefer to source separately.

Canopy Compatibility & Sizing

Your canopy selection determines the container size. The container model is auto-determined from the UPT sizing chart, or you can select it manually.

Canopies and AAD are optional add-on selections. Only the container size is required.

Ordering Wingsuit Specific Options

If you are interested in ordering the “wingsuit options”, just have your dealer include custom details in the special instructions on your order form. Below is a detailed list of what options you will likely want, as well as descriptions of why those options were chosen for this application. If there is an option you would like to alter, that will need to be clearly defined in the special instructions as well. Prices will reflect the options selected and is not an “all in one” cost.

Core Wingsuit Container Options

Dynamic Corners +€50 Folding corners on the main tray that allow for the tray to open completely flat allowing for a smooth deployment.

WS Pilot Chute & Bridle Included Longer bridle to allow the deployment bag to get fully out of the burble of the wingsuit when deploying. Includes 30″ pilot chute.

U-Stow Semi-Stowless D-Bag +€100 Recommended U-Stow is the recommended semi-stowless d-bag, if using dynamic corners.

DASH-1 Container Shape (-1 Size) Included The “-1” sizes (e.g. V314-1, V316-1) are built specifically for wingsuiting. They are longer and lay flatter against your back for maximized aerodynamics, and an easier pull. Check the sizing chart if your canopies allow for it.

Recommended Harness & Comfort for Wingsuit

These options are configured in Stage 4 (Harness). Below is why wingsuit pilots should consider each.

VGH (Variable Geometry Harness)

Otherwise known as hip rings, VGH allows articulation in the hip joints. Overall, for any style of flying, whether it be wingsuiting, free flying, or FS, hip articulation helps to give you more mobility.

2-Piece Narrow Leg Pads

These low bulk leg pads allow for more comfort and mobility around all of the extra material of a wingsuit.

Standard Deluxe Backpad

Low bulk with no spacer foam means minimal padding helps the rig lay as flat as possible against the jumper’s back, maximizing the aerodynamic performance. Further, the cordura (rather than 3D spacer foam), protects against wear from the suit/zippers/etc.

Babylon Backpad (alternative)

Also an option Vector WS pilots suggest if the jumper prefers to have some padding. Note: if you select Babylon backpad, the laterals will be cut-in slightly on the edges of the lumbar piece instead of outboard, as comes standard with this option.

Cordura-Covered Soft Padded Stabilizers

These are built from the edges of the container, like UPT’s standard laterals are, however without the rigid piece. The cordura provides an extra layer of protection for the webbing when rubbing against the suit.

Additional Options to Consider

Configured in later stages. Noted here for wingsuit-specific guidance.

-2″ Off The Top (Leg Pads — Stage 4)

An adjustment to the leg straps that effectively moves the leg strap hardware (friction adapters) 2″ farther up your hip. The benefit is that the hardware is no longer crowded between your legs when you tighten your leg straps all the way. Keep in mind this moves the hook knife location to the back of the leg straps — but for wingsuiting, you will want an alternate hook knife location anyway.

Skyhook MARD (Emergency — Stage 5)

Highly recommended for wingsuit flying. Deploys your reserve in ~0.5 seconds using your departing main as a “super pilot chute”. Critical for safe wingsuit operations with over 1,600 real-world emergency deployments recorded.
