LED socket option
Select With LED Socket if you want the Optima II prepared for LB’s external visual LED warning light. The LED socket version gives the same audible altitude awareness features, plus a visual warning output for jumpers who cannot reliably hear an audible in every situation, including high-speed flight, noisy helmets, hearing limitations or disciplines where extra visual altitude cues are useful.
The LED socket is an integrated product option, not a separate battery cover or after-order accessory. Choose it before checkout if you want LED compatibility.
OPTIMA II™ is an advanced audible altimeter with extremely accurate altitude detection. OPTIMA II™ is so accurate that it has an added set of warning beeps that can be set for a specific altitude during normal and high-speed landing approaches. This feature helps both swoopers and conservative pilots find the “sweet spot” for starting their landing sequences. We recommended that your eyesight and your experience be the primary source of determining at what altitude to start your landing sequence or pattern approaches.
