A scratched or scuffed screen is a reading you stop trusting at 1,000 m, and replacing the glass itself is a repair. A protector is the cheap layer in between: jump with it on, let it pick up the wear from the aircraft door, the packing mat and your gear bag, then peel it off and fit a fresh one.

Fitting

Clean the glass first and check the alignment against the display window before pressing the protector down. If you would rather not fit it yourself, bring the altimeter to us at the DZ and we will do it.

What you get

One screen protector. It is worth keeping a spare in your gear bag — this is exactly the part that gets damaged the day before a boogie.
